Begun in the mid 2000s as a disco resurgence group, Thunderwomb has morphed into its own entity. Never really taking the time to sit in one genre, listeners have called the groups sound anywhere from iconic to dishearteningly strange. Tracks such as Kings of the Whitehouse, Thunderwomb's Great Big Sexual Christmas Part II, and The Best Song Ever are all throwbacks to the very beginning of the group when they first tried to enter into the rap scene.

While no other tracks have been released under the name Thunderwomb, this is in fact the groups second album, hence the title "The Return". Most tracks are done as a freestyle, even those that are instrumental in nature. This gives the group a unique almost live feeling to most of its tracks. Providing a mix between rap, pop, ballads, and everything in between and outside - Thunderwomb is sure to leave an impression that will leave you feeling something.
