简介

LADONNA MOLE sings straight from the heart with a sound all her own. Regardless of the style, the tempo, or genre, LaDonna’s message is the same. “So much more than my passion,” she stresses, “presenting the message of the Gospel through song is what God has called me to do. Music is my life. Ministry is my life’s mission. I’m fulfilling my purpose in the place where the two converge.” Singing publicly since the age of 4, LaDonna’s genuine spirit and energetic style has inspired audiences for over twenty years. In 1993, while in college at Wake Forest University, LaDonna embarked on her journey to a professional career when her vocals captured the attention of Stellar Award-winning and Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and producer, John P. Kee. She auditioned on a Tuesday and was invited to begin traveling with the choir that very night. Within the same month, LaDonna recorded “I Know You” with Kee. The song is featured on his solo project, “Colorblind”. In 1995, LaDonna moved to Charlotte, NC to obtain her master's degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The move to Charlotte enabled her to become more involved with the New Life Community Choir, and with the church, New Life Fellowship Center, where John P. Kee is pastor. In November 1998, she married Timothy Mole, the music director and lead guitarist for the group. Asked about this union, she responds, “Tim is a jewel. He is the part that makes my life complete. I know that God chose him just for me.” LaDonna’s lead vocals can be heard on three of the New Life Community Choir releases --“Show Up!”, “Strength”, and “Not Guilty: The Experience. (Detailed information available upon request.) While singing with the New Life Community Choir, LaDonna and husband, Tim felt led to begin working on material that God had given to them as a team. Nine months later, LaDonna’s demo project, “One Focus” was born. When asked about the title she chose for this project, she comments, “My whole life has been a series of illustrations that reiterate one point: I can’t do anything without Christ. God has really been teaching me that the only way I can effectively accomplish anything is to focus solely on Him. I want Him to be in control of every single aspect of my life. It’s not always easy, but I’m learning to yield everything to Him. If I have my focus on Him, and do what He tells me to do, He’ll handle the rest.” Equipped with the invaluable experience that their tenure with John P. Kee and New Life afforded them, Tim and LaDonna were called to pursue other areas of ministry in 2003. Shortly thereafter, they were called to ministry as members of New Birth Charlotte, where the pastor is Pastor Terrell L. Murphy, and the founder is Bishop Eddie L. Long. There LaDonna serves as the choir director and assistant Worship Leader, and Tim is the Music Director. Pastor Murphy comments, "LaDonna's desire to touch the heart of God when she ministers is so passionate. Her maturity is beyond that of singing to perform and has reached the place where all of her efforts toward God give her an audience with the King every time she stands before the people." After sitting under Pastor Murphy’s teaching for the past two years, Tim and LaDonna were compelled to move forward in the call of music ministry on their lives, and record her first full-length CD “ON: PURPOSE”. When asked about the title of the project, she comments, “For some time, I’ve pondered my life’s meaning and true purpose. I prayed and asked God to reveal it to me. He showed me, in no uncertain terms, that I exist to promote His glory and fame in the earth by leading His people in worship. It’s my passion. It’s my purpose. After really catching this revelation, it has become my desire to live my life very deliberately to that end. Everything I do now is ON PURPOSE. Everything I sing…everything I live.” An anointed director, arranger, singer, and songwriter, LADONNA MOLE, is destined to share her gift of song with the world. Describing her aspirations for her career in music, LaDonna reveals, “I want to be used as His vessel to change lives through the songs that I sing. And I believe it’s possible—as long as I remember that the Power lies in His Message, not in His messenger.”
