Jacob Le Doux has been a musician, poet, "actor", singer, songwriter in the greater Baltimore area since 1999. His "metal" band Crimson Orchid has been doing shows for the last 10 years and occassionally travel up and down the east coast. Jacob Started doing "hip-hop" on the side in 09 since his band couldn't get there act together on a new album. After seeing his first release in 09 and EP titled jacob Le Doux presents: Glucose6phosphate "don't listen to this it's sh*t!", and then another EP release in 2010 of jacob Le Doux presents: Together we fill in the blanks "self-titled" he was ready to put some more thought in to his projects. 2011 saw the release of jacobs first full length solo cd. The album was comprised solely of dubcore beats. Jacob had already been calling his style dubcore due to it's combonation of hiphop and metal themes. So fittingly his 3rd release was titled jacob Le Doux pesents: Dub w/o a Home "we takes all kinds". After the success of his first full length jacob simply relaxed and played shows as they were offered. While booking with the likes of jadakiss, members of young money, and R kelly, his style is not even remotely similar. There is nothing quite like this and now we get a 4th taste, jacob Le Doux presents: Natural Disasters vol 1. This new album has a slightly different feel to the previous dubcore releases. However, it still keeps in the same vein of style that jacob is known for. The one thing that seperates this album from the rest is that every track is based on an event that actually took place in jacobs life. enjoy cause there will soon be a 5th...... enjoy and ..................... smoke em if you got em !!!!!!~
