简介
It’s been a productive year for Casey Stratton. In 2007 he recorded over 100 tracks in his Michigan studio and finished up his latest release, "Orbit". "Orbit" finds Stratton exploring some new territory. For the project Casey paid tribute to the music of the early 90s from bands such as The Sundays, The Innocence Mission, Cocteau Twins and The Cure while still remaining consistent with his own unique sound. The album explores the many angles of a complex relationship in songs such as album opener "Stolen Thunder", title track "Orbit" and the heartbreaking ballad "Willing to Try" as well as touching on spiritual and political themes on tracks like "Letters to God" and "On and On". The result is a catchy yet thought-provoking work that will most likely become a fan favorite as well as gaining the attention of an even wider audience.
