About FIRE MARSHALL aka CLOVIS DOUGLASS: FIRE MARSHALL aka CLOVIS DOUGLASS is originally a naitive of the island of ST. KITTS, but has been living in RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA for a good portion of his life. Making music has always been a part of his daily grind & the aspiring underground DANCEHALL artist had recorded some tracks in a studio with a RALEIGH music producer, NV of a ACE MOB ENT. However it wasn't til around 2004 that he ran into rising music mogel J.O.T. aka GRANDE GATO on HILLSBOROUGH ST in RALEIGH as J.O.T. was sitting in his ride listening to some DANCEHALL music. FIRE MARSHALL, who was walking by, stopped & struck up a conversation & found out that J.O.T. had an indie record label which had been putting out music on both cd albums & 12" vinyl records. FIRE MARSHALL told J.O.T. that he did DANCEHALL music & wanted to work with him. At that time, however, J.O.T. told FIRE MARSHALL that it would be about 12 months before he could do any collaborations with the aspiring DANCEHALL artist due to other music projects being promoted by J.O.T. RECORDS & that he would get back in touch with FIRE MARSHALL when that was done. Being true to his word J.O.T. contacted FIRE MARSHALL exactly a year later & that's when CLOVIS DOUGLASS's life went from being an unknown artist with no product or shows to being booked to perform live at venues like the nationally recognized reggae nightclub ZIGGY's in WINSTON-SALEM, NC & also being distributed on different NORTH CAROLINA STREET HEAT 12" vinyl various artists projects to DJ'S both in the UNITED STATES & overseas...all courtesy of J.O.T. RECORDS after he officiall signed a contract with the indie label. ABOUT EL PRESIDENTE de NORTE CAROLINA CALLE CALIENTE: Artist Name: GRANDE GATO aka SUPAFLYY PREEST aka J.O.T GRANDE GATO aka SUPAFLYY PREEST aka J.O.T. is an influential force whether he is in la calle de Norte Carolina (North Carolina) or Miami, Florida. Although he is African American, GRANDE GATO had Latino influences in life that introduced him to both formal and informal(slang) Spanish language. Starting out as a breakdancer and DJ, GRANDE GATO tasted his first success at a party he did at the Sawtooth Center in WINSTON-SALEM, NORTH CAROLINA. He went from being one of the hottest DJ's in the N.C. underground scene to one of the hottest track making producers. Eventually GRANDE GATO started writing and rapping in Spanish. People started telling him that his Spanish lyrics were caliente, so he continued. Staying true to his roots as a DJ, GRANDE GATO has pressed his music on 12" vinyl, or "wax" as some call it, as well as CD. The 12" vinyl projects are entitled NORTH CAROLINA STREET HEAT, and are in series starting at volume #1 and the most current being #5 (reggaeton remixes of songs by GRANDE GATO aka J.O.T. are on #4). In 2007 he met Angela Star of INDIE STREET LATINO at the magazine’s music venue on Park Avenue in Miami. It was there GRANDE GATO gave the 12” vinyl Volume#4 to INDIE STREET LATINO’s boss lady and was later interviewed by Angela Star that same year. GRANDE GATO released his sixth CD album, “PARA GANAR”(“IN ORDER TO WIN”) in 2009, which featured singing by his business partner/music artist MS. BONITA SENORITA. In 2010 he released his seventh CD album "ESA QUE PASA"("THAT's WHAT's UP) featuring new songs by both he and his business partner BONITA SENORITA. MS.CRYSTAL has performed with J.O.T. at large scale venues such as the 2007 TWIN CITY RIB FEST, the 2008 HISPANIC FESTIVAL in downtown Winston-Salem, & the 2009/2010/2011/2012/2013 DIXIE CLASSIC FAIR in WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina. She also has performed at small venues, such as church youth events, with J.O.T. throughout NORTH CAROLINA. In addition to performing music, MS. CRYSTAL has designed clothing for LADY SOUL. LADY SOUL is the female division of J.O.T.’s clothing line called SOUL-FULL WEAR, and even though he founded LADY SOUL MS. CRYSTAL is head over the line. In 2008, MS. CRYSTAL collaborated with J.O.T. on her first book project and had it published. The book collaboration was actually the third book put out under the SOUL-FULL PRODUCTIONS company name (two books by J.O.T. had already been published before he met MS. CRYSTAL). The name of MS. CRYSTAL’s book is PEACEMAKER and is a collection of original poems written by her. In 2009 MS. CRYSTAL, along with her business partner J.O.T., came out with the CD album “PARA GANAR”(“IN ORDER TO WIN”). The CD features songs of hers and some collaborations with J.O.T. as well. In 2010 MS. CRYSTAL released her latest CD album “ESA QUE PASA”(“THAT’S WHAT’S UP”) with J.O.T. aka GRANDE GATO which also featured new songs from her and more new song collaborations with business partner J.O.T.. Also released in 2010 was a 12” vinyl NORTH CAROLINA STREET HEAT record project(Volume#5) which features her singing vocals on collaboration tracks like DO THE HOLY GHOST; HOLY FLOW ADDICTION; and the CANCER/MS song as well. This was the first 12” vinyl record she had ever been featured on, and she felt that it was a major blessing. IN 2011 SHE and partner J.O.T. released the CD ALBUM “LIMPIAR PALABRAS”(“TO CLEAN WORDS”), and also a “live” performance DVD which featured both ENGLISH & SPANISH songs. For the year 2012 she & partner J.O.T. released their half SPANISH/half ENGLISH CD ALBUM “VERDAD”(“TRUE”) which was filled with R & B, REGGAETON, & even an opera styled track. The next release was “NUEVA MUSICA”(“NEW MUSIC”) for 2013, the tenth CD album for the J.O.T. RECORDS indie record label!!!! This project features a futuristic Spanglish track, GOOD vs EVIL(remix), that starts the CD off & another, NUEVA MUSICA, which showcases BONITA SENORITA singing the catchy chorus. Other tracks include her song BAD CHOICES which encourages people pray when making life choices. A new music album project, “ESTILO(STYLE), was released early & is only available on itunes as a digital download cd. It has tracks like “IF IT AIN’t ONE THING IT’s ANOTHER” which shows the Soul-full diva definitely has estilo or style as the itunes album title suggests.
