As with the first half, the dominant soloist is George Probert, who is mostly heard on soprano but also excels on alto during &Saxawoogie.& Cornetist Fred Vigorito's percussive sparseness recalls Kid Thomas Valentine a little, Sarah Bissonnette has a few good spots on tenor, and Big Bill gets in a few rips too. &Climax Rag& cooks, &Saxawoogie& has the two reeds in the spotlight, and &Tiger Rag& works well. The band is a bit ragged and not always perfectly in tune, but the results should easily please fans of revival New Orleans jazz.
