Escribí esta canción para mi nieta mayor en su Quinceañera porque no hallaba música apropiada que me gustara. Como abuelo, en esta canción le doy a mis nietas mi bendición, mi consejo y expreso mis deseos para sus vidas. Dedico esta canción a mis nietas y futuras nietas, y a cada una de las señoritas que están para celebrar sus Quinceañeras. A todos los padres y parientes que están trabajando arduamente en los planes, les digo que los estoy respaldando en espiritu en sus deseos de celebrar esta gran y rica tradición en nuestra cultura.
