Formed in 2012 by drummer Alex Stoitsiadis and guitarist Ryan Werner, Sleeping Pilots started out as a high energy duo that could capture the attention of any crowd. Adding bassist Claire Davis to the group a year later, the band began to combine their favorite genres into a style uniquely their own. Embracing the sounds of the gritty Detroit blues-rock scene they grew up on, Sleeping Pilots combine their love for fast loud garage punk with their admiration for feel-good upbeat indie sounds.
