After 20 years doing Tropical music, like salsa,rumba, plena,bomba and other Caribbean music,along with recording and performing with Afro-Caribbean giants like, Paoli Mejias, Larry Harlow, Willie Rosario,Ismael Miranda and folkloric group, Yuba ire, David Atanacio finally came out with his first solo project (Viva Rosario!) of many more to come.Homage to a living salsa legend ,roaring since the late 50's to this date with hits like ( Cuesta de la Fama, Barrio Obrero a la 15,LLuvia, Cuando se canta bonito,Mi amigo el Payaso, Botaron la Pelota,and of singers like Gilberto Santarrosa, Tony Vega, Jr. Toledo, Guillo Rivera, Menique among many others.

Having the opportunity to sing in his band was more than a achievement, it was a lifetime experience. And now wanting to reciprocate with this hot tune, Viva Rosario! David wants to invite the world to honor Mr. Afinque.
