Twinkie is a co-ed four-piece band from Derby, UK with a well-established live reputation, along with numerous glowing reviews of self-released and small label singles and EPs in the past. On their first full-length CD, Twinkie lets loose with its full array of alternately crunching and ringing guitars, vocals that vary from swooping to quirky, along with pounding drums and bass-all the while refusing to abandon a pop underpining. The dual vocal team of male bassist Moo and female guitarist Debbie (last names unknown!) give the band a distinctive dimension.
