New to the 18-09 roster comes Ryk. Having freshly graduated from "Soma Skool" - an offshoot of the legendary Soma Records, Ryky provides us with three excellent house tracks combining to form the Move It EP. Move is the lead track to the EP and provides a superb introduction. Jacking house grooves set on top of solid basslines and interspersed with vocals stabs and subtle synth lines make this an excellent all rounder for all sets. Work That picks the pace up that little bit more and hinges more towards tech house. Slight throw back to early house influences can also be heard with the use of acid sounds throughout. Completing the EP is In That House which has a very current feel to it. Rising and phasing pads, deep basslines, 909 hats all combine to provide a superb finish. Enjoy and all feedback welcome!
