简介

A-NON BIO: "It was Yo MTV Raps back in 94", A-NON was 10 yrs old, attending Irving Elementary in Eugene OR, Yo MTV Raps played the video “Thuggish Ruggish Bone” He was in a daze the whole video and by the end of the video he knew in the bottom of his heart he wanted to grow up to be just like Bone Thugs. A-NON looks at Bone as his founding 5 fathers of rap. The way they use harmony and definitely the rapid fire raps is what pulled him in. A-NON rhymed when he was 10yrs old, but really just trying to decipher bone lyrics and develope a sound of his own that kind of branched off the Bone Thug sound. By the age of 12 A-NON was writing all his own music and experimenting with different ways to record. "I’m sure every rapper at one point probably did this but I used to take 2 boom boxes, point them at each other, one boom box would have a tape recording and the other would have an instrumental tape playing, I would stand in between the stereo’s and rap at the one recording, that’s how I first started recording." A-NON kept doing that for a few years until he was around 15 yrs old or so and got his first computer. The first studio program A-NON had was “hip-hop Ejay.” A $20 program, "Still cracks me up. But we all started somewhere feel me?" A-NON got his first keyboard when he was 16yrs old, "It was Yamaha PSR-280 I think.." A-NON taught himself how to count measures “bars” taught himself how to find the keys of any beat he heard. Then A-NON was introduced to “Fruity Loops 3″ lets just say he put the keyboard up for a while so he could figure out fruity loops for himself. Until this day A-NON still uses fruity loops and a keyboard from time to time. When A-NON was 17yrs old he was a junior and went to Park Rose High school in Portland and was introduced to Mali-Gee of Ghetto Rise Records and signed his first deal with the label. A-NON released his debut album that year in 2002 titled: “Stormy Weather,” which was sold in Tower Records, Sam Goody, Circuit City, and little mom and pop stores from Seattle WA. to Eugene OR. A-NON graduated at Willamette High School in Eugene Oregon in 2003, he had been into drugs a little while he was in high school, "Let's just say when I graduated I took flight in the d**e game and pretty much put all my music behind me so I could pursue drugs and streets.. Not a good idea.” A-NON did that for about 3 years before he hit rock bottom, homeless, broke and all the above that comes with drug use. A-NON caught a ride with someone he just met that was going to Portland. A-NON left with nothing but the clothes on his back. Shortly after A-NON met his wife, he started a family and straightened up his life. Over the past years A-NON has released 4 albums: “Break Em Off", ”A-NON”, a joint album with Mackdub titled “The Northwest Kings,” and also another joint album with ESCO titled “The U.G.D Affiliates (No Competition)". A-NON has also had the opportunity to personally work with: Bizzy Bone, Yukmouth, Cool Nutz, Luni Coleone, Spice 1, Todd G, Roulette Delgato, Dirty 541 and more. So far all have blessed A-NON with great features for the album "My City (separate the great from the garbage)" wich will by far be an Epic album dropping from the NorthWest's own U.G.D Entertainment 503... "get ready NWest."
