Oakland, California native Aneesa Strings is a BAM bassist, lyricist, composer, and singer who is emerging to set a new standard for what it means to be an independent artist. As the youngest of seven siblings, she was exposed to a variety of music at an early age. Icons like Curtis Mayfield, Isaac Hayes, Bobby Blue Bland, and Miles Davis rooted her introduction to playing music in Jazz and Classical genres. At the age of 12, she began playing the upright bass and exercised her craft in numerous youth music programs, both regional and international. Now she is entering into her tenth year of practice and refining her artistry.

Aneesa Strings is a spirited creative who's nature exudes the consciousness of balance in the universe with every lyric, note, and tone.
