Biography Alexandra Mari Kennedy Vocalist/songwriter Alexandra Kennedy, AKA ‘Alexi’ is an accomplished vocalist who began her musical career in Europe at a young age, performing at numerous venues and recording studios, while establishing a name for herself by being featured in various news media. Alexandra gained valuable experience working under management of a reputable German music production company, providing her with many amazing opportunities. Alexi continued developing her musical talents while attending the University of Minnesota Music School, with extensive classical training and music theory, including jazz and R&B studies; as well as she has great experience in writing music and collaborating with other successful musicians. Performing in various recognized venues in and around the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, this artist has been a member of known local twin cities groups, including Decade, Wicked Blue, Epic, KNQ Jazz Quintet, and Jaded. These experiences have provided her with the opportunities to share the stage with renowned artists, such as Grand Funk Railroad, Loverboy, Rick Springfield, The Bangles, Poison, Edgar Winter, and Great White. Alexi has also had the privilege to record backing vocals for Jessica Simpson's summer of 2000 tour for Walt Disney.
