简介
“A classic beauty, Fay brings a matchless blend of sincerity and passion into the world of pop culture.” Read what MyxerTones.com has to say about up and coming artist Fay: 'A Timbaland-like, made-for-the-dancefloor beat pumps out of the speakers as Los-Angeles’ Fay heats things up and locks her sights on the pop charts! With a spot-on electronic 80’s club sound and “perfectly-pop” sensibilities, Fay’s vocals sound insanely fluid, hugging the curves, as the bouncy beat takes the listener on a sonic, roller-coaster ride! In addition to her skills, Fay is the type of artist we love, a giver, counting UNICEF and the ASPCA as those who she donates a portion of all album sales to-- way to go! Born into a household of musical talent, her mother a jazz/fusion singer and father a television/film composer, she gave her first vocal performance at the young age of three. At nine, Fay joined her school choir, rehearsing up to twelve hours a day with weekly rehearsals, at-home practices and competitions to create an even stronger voice. In Spring 2002, Fay developed severe laryngitis. Aspiring for perfection she continued to perform, causing severe damage to her vocal cords and ultimately resulting in vocal cord surgery in 2005. Being told she would never be able to sing again, Fay turned to other career endeavors within the music industry to cope with the loss of her voice. Working side-by-side with her father, she began music editing and eventually producing most of his projects. With an undying dream of becoming a singer, Fay slowly started singing again. Once being able to sing 5 1/2 octaves it was now difficult to sing a note. Never giving up, she had her focus on one day being able to sing and record again. With the release of Give it to Me Straight, it has now been nearly five years since her vocal injury. With her upcoming album “Empowered”, Fay hopes that those who are fortunate enough to control the path of their own lives may feel empowered to help those less fortunate than themselves. While contributing a percentage of her sales to UNICEF, Fay is also a contributor to ASPCA, Tom’s Shoes for Tomorrow and recently donated over ten inches of her hair to “Locks of Love”. Producing her own music, and with the recent release of It’s All the Same, Fay’s singing career is only growing stronger. Having a voice described as sultry, depth-full and packed with heart, her songs will continue to challenge the world of pop. (Credit: Devon Quinn)
