Adventures from Ezra Jack Keats, Apt 3 Soundtrack contains the score for the critically acclaimed off-broadway show based on the book by the late award-winning auther Ezra Jack Keats, produced by the TADA! Youth Theater. Apt 3 is a journey back to 1971 to a New York City tenement building. Two brothers, Sam and Ben, accidentally lock themselves out of their apartment and follow the sounds of mysterious music that they hear coming from somewhere in their building. They take a fantastical journey through the tenement that eventually leads them to the source of the mysterious music, a blind man in apt 3 who teaches them that all the sounds of the city are music. The CD includes the dance score and underscore to the hit off-broadway show and contains 25 minutes of bonus material including the song "JOY" The music from apt 3 has had a huge impact among tweens who are drawn to the freshness of the neo-70's style sound. The CD has an equally potent following amongst adults who enjoy being transported back to 1971 through this thoroughly well crafted and uplifting score.
