“Ngene Lay’nini” is ndebele, loosely translating to ‘Get in line’ and this is my first release of 2022 featuring frequent collaborators BlvckSmyth, Donne Jovi, and VI The Law. We wanted to make something to remind everyone that we are here and here to stay – basically not to count us out. This felt like the perfect canvas to send a strong message to any ‘competition’ in an effective way. Lyrically, BlvckSmyth set the pace with the first verse and the chorus then VI the Law & Donne Jovi kept the same energy throughout the song. Ngene Lay’nini is executed on a dark, bouncy drill instrumental and is as gritty as they come. Consider yourselves warned to get in line and stay in line!
