21.Craig De Sousa- Reckless Shuffle EP Remarkably this is the first solo effort in the Heads and Tails catalogue from co-owner Craig De Sousa. This EP is the first of three being released over the Southern Summer and is included in Craig’s Audio Flux 2012 mix which charted #2 on Beatports Top 100 mixes. Side A kicks off with “Reckless.” This infectious South African House track has that “X factor” which most producers strive for but never achieve. Side B’s “Deluxe Shuffle” is a tribute track to one of South Africa’s corner stone Deep House clubs Deluxe, where Craig played many dj sets over 10 years to a discerning audience. The clubs unfortunate closing this year inspired Craig to produce “Deluxe Shuffle,” which Craig describes as “the common groove that always moved the dance floor.” The Reckless Shuffle EP is a passionate introduction to one of South Africa’s guardians of House Music.
