Ka Hauka'i is my journey... Not only through my music career and where it has taken me, but also my journey through life and the lessons that I have learned... Each songs reflects the steps that I have taken to become who I am and where I stand today... The songs He Aloha No Ku'uipo 'Ekahi, He Aloha No Ku'uipo 'Elua, He Aloha No Manaia are all entwined together... created from the different stages of my Wondering, building of my Foundation, and my Contentment... All leading to my Happiness! The final song, E Ku'u One Hanau E, meaning "Birth Sands" returns us in full-circle... when I first started my music career, I played the 'Ukulele and later picked up the guitar... I decided to record E Ku'u One Hanau E with just vocals and 'Ukulele bringing me back to where I started as an entertainer... such as life, with every Journey there is a beginning and an end... only to start all over again as the wiser! I believe everyone has a Journey in life, I hope for those who listen to my music will find a song or two that will help them realize their Journey or comfort them on their way...
