Recorded at the Establishment in Des Moines, IA, by producer/engineer Griffin Landa, "Dawn of the Death" lays out the blueprint for what is to come from Green Death: fast, heavy guitar riffs, powerful drumming with no fear of the occasional blast beat, and vocals ranging from a death metal growl to pure, clean melody - think Slayer crossed with Type O Negative, and you're almost there.

All songs were written and performed by the core members of Green Death - Sol Bales (ex-Only), vocals; Erich Tran (ex-Only), drums and lead guitar; and Mark Reinking (ex-Only - noticing a trend yet?), bass and rhythm guitars. With special guest vocalist Anders Colsefni (Painface, ex-Slipknot) on "Possessions", and additional guest vocals by Anders, Eric Davidson (Dead Horse Trauma), Denny Harvey, and Gene Evans on "The Devil's Hand/Bathed In Black".
