Jay Michael Weiner began his writing career in the early seventies having had four songs published by Shapiro Bernstein Publishing. Jay then signed with Green Menu Records and recorded an EP with Harold Wheeler, producing and arranging his songs using some of the top studio musicians of that time. One of the songs, “You’re the one I need” was on Billboards top 100 in 1976.

With the music industry being what it is, Jay needed to earn a more reliable source of income so he entered into the beauty business. With Jay’s artistic talents he went on to create a successful brand of hair salons known as “Jay Michael.” Because Jay’s love of music never left him, he made the decision to get back into writing and composing.

In the fall of 2012, Jay took his songs to Philadelphia’s number one recording studio “Milkboy the Studio” and spent several months recording and producing some of his latest material. Demos were then produced and his new EP is now available.
