Sometime during my 15th year aboard this wreck of a world, I started writing music. I don't remember exactly what got me started, probably a girl. Every now and then, I'll have something really, really important to say. At least, it seems important until I imagine saying it out loud: "Hey *insert girl's name here*, I like you, but you don't like me, but I'm not quite smart enough to move on." Somehow, I fail to sympathize with my past self. But rhyme it and put it in 3/4... well now you've got something: -Your heart's a padlock, but I am a thief and I'm not sure I can't get inside. -So let the clock tick, pianos are lock picks tonight. That's the purpose of music— it can make anything significant. My music usually lands somewhere between acoustic singer/songwriter and electronic pop rock. Maybe I'm a little indecisive, or maybe I'm eclectic (or maybe that's the same thing). At any rate, I sing what I cannot say, and once in a while it's catchy.
