J-Batters is a hard working independent artist out of the Forgotten City of Buffalo, Ny. Jay started rapping at around the age of 12-13, recording himself on his mothers old tape player through headphones, on tape over Tupac songs, in his parents basement. It wasn't until 2006 that Jay (22yrs of age at the time) realized Music is what he needed to do after being shot in the face and nearly dying. Shortly after that J-Batters was arreseted for carrying a loaded Firearm. During his short stay in the county jail he told himself he would make it big rapping about his life struggles. When Batters was released in 2007 he stuck to his promise, started a label (Take Money Entertainment LLC.), bought a house and built a recording studio, and went to work. Today J-Batters has worked with many industry shakers such as: Kid Kold(producer for Ashanti), Mike Will(super producer of Rick Ross hit Tupac Back) etc. For 2012 and years to come J-Batters plans on becoming known World Wide!
