While living in Vienna Austria in the 1990's Paul became obsessed with fusing classic Big Band standards of the 1930's and 40's with shred/metal guitar. All these cool guitars were recorded with Marshall amps in the cellar of the Ottakringer district building that was the site of the 1990's European music school American Institute of Music (AIM).

Paul is a veteran guitarist and has played with national acts, taught guitar on Hollywood sets, authored best selling instructional books and worked for major musical instrument companies. Paul also hosts a guitar oriented talk radio podcast called “Boss Tone Radio” you can find it at iTunes.

Paul writes and records music for TV and film. You can hear his music on the main menu of the first Matrix DVD, and also many movie previews.
