"Belly of the Whale" is a collection of music built from cinematic projects by film composer Geoffrey Burch. The makeup of the album is largely orchestral with hints of Jazz, Rock, and Ambient. There is no one single mood, but rather a gathering of work that delicately rides the line between order and chaos. From beginning to end, this collection is a Yin/Yang experience. The observant listener may notice musical and non-musical homages.
