David Zilli and Schyler Binkley, the two founding members of Ender, met on a double date in high school. A couple months after that fateful afternoon, the band was formed. Schyler started playing drums when the band began practicing because that seemed like a good time to start, whereas David had been playing guitar and singing for a couple of years already in the much defunct band Homestead. After a few different members came and went playing various forms of guitars, the current line-up was settled on in October of 2006 with the addition of Dan LaFond on bass guitar, solidifying Ender as a three piece band. By the time Dan came around, most of the tracking had already been done by Schyler and David for Good News From The Stereo. The album was released in February, 2007. In the summer of 2007, Ender piled in their van and drove around playing shows for six solid weeks, traveling all over the midwest and northeast coast. The members of Ender have a couple simple goals in mind: to write catchy, heartfelt indie rock music that they themselves like to listen to, while traveling the world and meeting cool people. With their ever-growing fan base supporting them to no end, the future looks bright for Ender.
