For many artist, this journey leaves them in despair as they attempt to reach the top before time expires. However, some will go through incredible changes, redefine themselves and return to the path of righteousness. Brother Hahz was born and raised in Newark, NJ. Before Brother Hahz came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, he was known to the world as "Hahz the Rippa." He toured the country with great artists such as Queen Latifah and Naughty by Nature and performed in Europe where he shared the stage with The Fugees and Jay Z. He has seen more than the average performer in his time. A seasoned artist with many years of experience, he spent time working and performing with Rocafella Records after making a strong impression on label founders Damon Dash and Jay-Z. A few years later he relocated to Florida to help build the foundation of Roy Jones’ record label, Bodyhead Entertainment. Confronted with many disappointments and setbacks, Hahz returned home some years later with the intentions of redefining himself. Unbeknownst to him, his purpose manifested itself – in 2003 he was shot in the chest and escaped death by two. Hahz knew that it was nothing but God's grace and mercy that spared his life and had given him a second chance. In the spring of 2004, Hahz fully committed his life to Christ and realized God's purpose for his life. As a lyricist/singer/writer/producer/composer, Hahz has been commissioned to do God's music...heartfelt music. Soon Heartfelt Faithfulness - The Movement was created which has become much bigger than the individual but focuses on sincerity, loyalty and faith in God.
