Sacred Journey is about the process of reuniting all aspects of self. It’s about embracing our divinity. Let the music be your guide to your own sacred journey! The title song sets forth the path out of illusion, asks the deep questions about our identity and where to look for the answers. To embrace who we are, we have to loose who we thought ourselves to be. And so we feel lost and confused as we meander about like a bird that has no place to go in “Fly Young Bird Fly”, until there’s “A Change of Winds” when something new is born. But the journey is hard. As part of our healing, stored fear in the form of frustration and anger surfaces. In our lowest despair we lash out and scream “Who am I?” Reuniting with other aspects of self is a lot like dating; it’s about getting close, having doubts, new discovery, pulling closer, etc. I call this a “Lovers’ Dance”. To help us find the way, our other aspects are laying out the bread crumbs and calling us in “Come Home”, and we discover that they’ve been with us all along. Whether in our homes or on some “Cross Country Adventure”, our soul is always with us. Enjoy it! It is said that when we are “awake” we are really asleep, and when we are “sleeping” we are truly awake. So go to sleep with “Lullaby”. How do we reintegrate? By judging nothing and accepting everything, “Just Let Go”. “Show me love” asks God/Goddess/All that is, for help. Every line is packed with wisdom and multiple meanings. Read them often. For years my son loved trains. In “Iron Horse” I captured the thrill of the train ride and the expression of shear joy on his face! All aboard! Now we’ve come to a place of peaceful bliss, close your eyes and put yourself on a sandy beach and watch the “Flight of the Seagull”….. Remember: Accept Everything, Deny Nothing, Own it All! Steve
