简介

The Mount Zion I Riddim is a collaborative Reggae project between labels, JahLight Records (Trinidad) and Flow Production (Switzerland). It was recorded by Akeunde Pemberton, mixed by Kendel Arnold, produced by Hugo Wolf, mastered by Nigel Julien of Dainjamentalz USA) and executively produced by Akeunde Pemberton and Sherlon Jackson. The project came as a result of a mutual agreement by good networking and working relationships between the two aforementioned labels. After meeting via myspace, we developed a good communication and realized that we both had a similar vision for the music so we decided that we would unite to put out a few projects, this being one out of the 3 that we signed for. We told him about some of the amazing talent that Trinidad had to offer and being somewhat familiar with the Reggae movement on this side he told me that he would leave the voicing to my care and discretion. From there I started to carefully select the artists for this project. This is where we voiced the very talented Zebulun, Multi Symptom, Dainjamental ( out of USA), upcoming artists, Mar Dfx, Soul, the beautiful Roxy Singh and gospel star, Koen Duncan. We aspire to move the masses towards righteousness with this project. It’s to inspire them to know about the place where God dwells and how so much He welcomes all. It’s a place, a spiritual place, where there is no more pain, no suffering, only love, joy and peace. It’s a place that you can live for all eternity and enjoy the company of God himself, forever. All we have to do is choose Him and the gates will be open. This project is aimed at the whole world as far as the four corners, to all that will receive this musical blessing. In an age where they say Reggae is dying, where the darkness is constantly opposing light, we say to the world, ‘this fire will never stop burning, this light will never stop shine, keep focus, continue to praise God and great will be your reward In Mount Zion.’
