Black Martian, who used to be called Lord Kareem, has been very fortunate to be here still doing music. I grew up on the Southside of Chicago, which was a jungle, and one of the highest crime rates in the world (middle east). But this song was directed more towards my father, who was addicted to drugs for over 30 years. I want to show the youth, that no matter where you come from, you can make it! I love my pops, and would not trade our struggles for anything. Being an artist, and a son is tough, but we manage! Enjoy my Music, Jeremy is on this one too!
