“Novo Nebo” is a band that exists in the Catholic community in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Literal translation is “New Heaven”. The concept and philosophy of band is: "animating youth through its musical expression and spiritual principles". Since they are mostly youth, musical expression is clearly set out to pop - rock concept of modern times, so that through their entire body of work, you can hear all the elements as well as with other pop - rock bands today. Last year Novo Nebo is celebrating 30 years of existence and work. Astonishing enthusiasm greeted generations of musicians of all kinds and expressions. Some members are here for more than 10 years and the only motivation for work is spiritual satisfaction for work done in the fields of music and religion. Recently, they are active on social networks, and their YouTube channel is well- filled with live performances. “Gospodin Dolazi" (“The Lord is coming") is an album of songs performed at different festivals of spiritual music in period of 1999 -2013. We have already mentioned that the arrangements, melodies, rhythms, and all other segments in their music are of pop - rock expression. The lyrics are mostly spiritual and universal humanistic messages like voices of vulnerable segments of society. One of them is “Budi mi prijatelj” ("Be my friend") that became the anthem of associations of persons with disabilities “Budimo prijatelji” ("Let's be friends "). At the end of the song wards Association Mirsad Imamovic , Edin Sadiković Jasmina Mujičić and Edin Dizdarevic recite your message : Do not pity me ! Do not turn your head to forget me ! I am present ! I'm here ! Under the same sky we live all ! It is impossible to enumerate here all contributors in recording, playing, singing and lyrics-writing. Since they work completely voluntary all the money they earn is spent on instruments, cables, microphones etc.
