Brandon "Coop D” Cooper started doing music at the young age of nine, when he wrote his first song. From then on, music has always been a part of his life. He was raised in East Lynwood, in Wichita Falls, where he continued to make music with neighborhood friends up until he left for college. Never the less, he never gave up his childhood dream of being a successful person. On September 21, 2008 he teamed up with Ki2theDoubleD to form DFM. Coop D has two mixtapes College Material & Sound Movement. He is now working on his debut album "Dreams for Music"His musical inspirations include Pimp C, Field Mob, Ice Cube, Scarface, Tupac Shakur, Bun B, Biggie Smalls, Kanye West, DSR, LBP, Outcast, Juvenile, Lil Wayne, Cee-10 Green, and the legendary Micheal Jackson. Coop D enjoys playings sports such as football, basketball and even bowling. He also loves playing video games with his friends and dee-jaying. Coop D is a producer, rapper, radio personality and a hard-worker. Coop D loves the color black, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and the Texas Rangers D.F.M. was created on September 21st, 2008 by founding members Joseph "Ki2theDoubleD" (or “KIDD” for short) Cameron and Brandon "Coop D" Cooper. In 2010, DFM was accented with three new members Micheal "Mike Lass" Lassiter, Johnathon “Je` Je` Royal" McWilliams, and Harold “L.O.W.” Bennett. D.F.M. stands for "Dreams For Music". The vision of DFM is to sonically bring to the world, something that is new, different, and originality that you've never heard before. Right now all over the world people have the dream to one day be recognized for their talent and/or artistry. “We are no different. Thus is the reason we joined together to create D.F.M.
