Jeanette Arsenault is a Canadian singer/songwriter who has independently released 7 albums plus 1 album as a member of the gospel trio, Trinity. In 2012, Jeanette received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for helping to advance causes & community projects such as Songs of Hope for Haiti, World AIDS Day, The County Cares Tsunami Benefit Concert, Invisible Army, among many others. She also was recently named an honourary member of Business & Professional Women (BPW) Canada. Jeanette sang for our Canadian Olympic athletes in Athens, Greece and in Salt Lake City, Utah. She performed live on CBC TV on Parliament Hill in Ottawa on July 1st, 2001. In June 2011, she opened the World Congress of the Business & Professional Women International in Helsinki, Finland with her anthem, “Women of the World” in their four official languages: French, English, Spanish & Italian. In 2010, she received the prestigious “Leading Women, Building Communities Award (one of 104 in Ontario). Also that same year, her song, “Waiting To Welcome You” was adopted as the official song for the Municipality of Prince Edward County, Ontario. In 2009, Jeanette was voted Woman in Business of the year. In 2013, she was voted Reader’s Choice Favourite Local Entertainer (8th time). She has recently launched her new show, “I’m An Acadian-Canadian, Eh!”, a loving tribute to her Acadian heritage through storytelling, songs, fiddling, stepdancing & harmonica playing.
