This album is a two-artist album of solos recorded by Rick Foster and Jonathan Roth. It continues Rick's vision to make quality arrangements and recordings of sacred music. It also continues his mission to make beautiful, melodious, relaxing music for the solo classical guitar. Rick Foster began arranging and recording these songs in 2007. As the work continued, he began experiencing difficulty with his right hand, eventually reaching a point in June of 2008 where he could progress no further with his recordings. As he continued to create arrangements, it became apparent that he would need to find another player to perform his arrangements. After considering several options, Rick met guitarist Jonathan Roth and remembered his beautiful playing. This acquaintance developed into the working relationship needed to finish this album. Rick Foster recorded 10 of the songs on this album, and Jonathan Roth recorded the remaining 9 songs.
