What a life I live! I hope to encourage and inspire people to become better through my music... and I'm starting with me! A little bit about my life: I'm adopted into a huge, HUGE family by two old, white Christians (who love me to death but we have our own views on things). I'm mixed, black and white (being an Oreo is fun until you figure out you don't ever quite fit in...). I'm lesbian and a Christian... I'd need a few days to explain how I still believe in a faith that excludes me at every chance its people get. I'm a U.S. Army veteran with boots on ground (OEF '10-'11). I promise this album showcases the parts of my life that I call my "Affirmative Action Pack 2017"! I try to use comedy to get my points across but most of my songs have a meaning behind them. #yupyup was probably the most fun to write because of how wacky it is and how great the beat is. Love is Lost lets your hear a little of my singing side, although I'm always working towards a better voice! Coronation has to be my favorite track I've ever done; it truly feels like this mixtape is my Coronation and Purple Queen is coming in strong!
