The recordings on this CD span three decades of devotion to clarinet and wind instrument playing, from Goode's first recorded improvisation in 1970, to imitations of natural sound, to a large ensemble piece. The CD begins with the most recent work: folk and classical music combined in one formally designed composition. Subsequent tracks trace Goode's creative playing from its beginnings in the late 60s.
