I wrote “My Everything” in high school about a boy I had a really huge crush on. He played a lot of games and it really drove me crazy. At the time our relationship was very one-sided (I liked him more than he liked me). So, My Everything is about my desire to have a more balanced, mutual relationship with this guy.
