This four piece called The Road Home has been making name for themselves eversince, spreading their high voltage rock anthems like fire. Drawing influences from old timers Waits, Costello and Springsteen on the one side and from contemporaries The Gaslight Anthem, Social Distortion, The Loved Ones and Alkaline Trio on the other. Playing over seventy shows, bursting with youthful energy, within the first year gave them a fierce live reputation and landed them supportslots for, among others, Toy Dolls (UK), Drive Like Maria (BE), King Cannons (AUS) and Reno Divorce (USA). All in a year. OLD HEARTS March 2012 marks the birth of their debut EP ‘Old Hearts’ . Songs filled with cahtchy hooks built on a raw foundation of punkrock. From the radiofriendly single ‘Old Hearts” (feat. guestvocals by acoustic punkrocker Tim van Tol) to the uptempo ‘Rivals’, The Road Home takes you on a journey trough five songs dealing with lost love, despair, solitude and hometown Enschede.
