The rich roots flavor of Soul, Jazz, Funk, Disco, Afro, Latin, Reggae and Dub along with the groove of modern Hip Hop, House and Techno beats are fused together with an eclectic sensibility and unsurpassed performance skills. cro-magnon, the three piece jam band that Japan proudly presents to the world, returns further evolved. After temporarily suspending band activity in 2011, they were back in 2012 with greater ambitions. Their greatest hits album “THE BEST” acted as a signal fire for their return, which was followed by “Otsu”, a collaboration album with the ground breaking manga “Heugemono”. In 2013 cro-magnon completed their third European tour which lasted for 24 days, and the tour footage which was released via THE NORTH FACE official YouTube channel has been gaining plenty of public attention. And 2014, their long awaited original new album will finally be released!
