Hailing from Baton Rouge, LA, Tomplay's core is Toby Tomplay, singer/songwriter, guitar player, and Jeff Hood, drummer. They have been playing music throughout the South in several bands over the last 10 years. Their live performances are either acoustic guitar/percussion duos, or full-blown, full-band shows. All original music is acoustic-based. With influences like Jack Johnson, Maroon 5, Foo-Fighters, and Matchbox 20, It's easy to hear where the music comes from, yet Tomplay has a signature sound of it's own.
