简介
With revolution in their hearts and rock n’ roll on their minds, Royal Family is raising the bar for modern music. The band is laying down a unique and refreshing high energy style of rock that is inspired by 1970's New York art punk like Velvet Underground, Patti Smith, and Television. Their sound also encompasses modern textures and melodies such as that of Kings of Leon, Wolfmother and Black Keys. Royal Family keeps audiences captivated and wanting more. Releasing their 2008 ep "I Sing the Body Electric" helped put the band on the map, and now with the release of their full-length album “Kick In Kick Out” you can be sure these gentlemen will continue creating a buzz and stirring up the music scene across the country. Royal Family has been together for two years but their history goes back much further than that. Singer Joshua DeRosa was introduced to bass player Ross Fuentes during their freshmen year of high school. Fuentes quickly brought in drummer Lucas Fuentes and the boys started writing and playing a very unique, fast, and punchy style of punk rock. They were known at the time as The Corporate Slaves. The boys fan base grew fast in and around the Atlanta city area. A few years later the band was introduced to lead guitarist Kelly Hall from the highly succesful Atlanta band GruvnHi. Soon after the Corporate Slaves became Royal Family. The bands sound began to evolve and mature and the rest was as they say, “history.” Check these out for more info on the band: www.Facebook.com www.purevolume.com/RoyalFamilyAtlanta
