Niceness was formed in 2008 in San Francisco, CA Kim O'Connor is the songwriter, singer and player of mandolin, guitar, piano, keyboard sparkly sounds and the kazoo. Joe O'Connor plays the bass, guitar and uses lots of filters and delay to make everything pop. Jim Bove is the master of creating the delicious drum and percussion tracks. Niceness also incorporates the use of various samples from public domain field recordings that will make you feel like you're sitting in a breezy forest or on a ship out at sea.

Niceness features special guest performances by Lewis Ames, Ethan Lee, and Al Volmer from the Melatones, Vivian, Dmitri Seals from the Rocking Chairs, and Marc Brown from Humboldt Squid.
