The happy existentialist returns with an album of demos written between 2005 and 2010. Spanning several genres, and eliciting the help of a couple of friends to sing six of the seventeen tracks, this album will captivate you with its organic sound and deep compassion concerning the human condition. In an age of over-produced sonic landscapes, this collection is fresh in its humble presentation. The songs, all written by Alex Petrounov, were originally demos never specifically intended for release. Songs like Boy Meets Girl, Gold and Don't Go Changing, with their simple demo sound, have nevertheless enjoyed wide acclaim and generous accolades. Jason Eskridge and Missi Hale lend their voices to several of the songs. With a few exceptions, all instruments were performed by Alex Petrounov. The songs were arranged and produced by Alex Petrounov.
