The rise of the fusion of electronic music with Latin American folk music. La Nueva Guardia presents "Subiela" an organic album. Recently it's been increasing the significance of Latin America in every way and it wants to be known around the world by exploring new understandings of the roots of its region. Although, before eyes were placed on North America and Central Europe, today the perceptions of the course has changed and it takes a look to the southern region of our planet Earth. This is why there are new ways to merge and tell a story, reading it again, creating new concepts and paradigms. Folk music has taken an unimaginable strength to merge and in this case with in the finer concepts of electronic music, without losing the strength and enthusiasm of the new movements and to be installed for good. So as told, there are new styles and even new treatments of sounds from all these items mentioned above. This is the case of the album "Subiela" from La Nueva Guardia (LNG), a band that surprises us from South America, more specifically Argentina. Subiela from LNG is a concept album based on the fusion of aesthetics, since electronic music to various popular Argentine general terms, either from the musical point of view or in their lyrics. LNG also seeks by reference the production of the "song" from the cultural training in Argentina known as "national rock' mixing all these elements with electronic music such as IDM, House or Synth Pop, as the main base. Subiela is a work that clearly represents the modern music scene today in Argentina, produced and arranged very careful especially in the vocals. The truth is that this record is shouting out loud, claiming that Latin blood grows without stopping, without losing sight of the goal of merging electronic roots with neat and new technologies. Years ago it looked very difficult from this point of the globe to catch the eyes of Europe, but today is a tendency that it can't be hidden or ignored. Reviews are more successful and promising from the east side, encouraging curiosity to know how these parts vibrate the Latin American spirit. On the other hand, we cannot miss the organic contribution that represents this album, it seems to be growing very strong in native lands, to be thrown strongly in the universal space of music. This can be seen beyond the musicality of the album, therefore LNG presents a quite finished proposal under a general concept. This is not just a band that is dedicated to prove in its musical laboratory, it's also dedicated to their image. They search (and find) a careful image such as in sound details like in visuals. Always with attractive proposals on stage and with a careful concept from their style. Importantly, it shows the strength of the product and no matter if you are listening to their album or seeing them in their live performances they manage to transmit every detail. Without leaving any random detail LNG seeks to conquer a place that no doubt has begun to gain by showing and doing its proposal without doubt of their own product.
