In 1998, at age 15, Young D first started freestyling and writing music for fun with friends. Eventually, he started recording on old karaoke machines, creating tapes and distributing them to classmates. He gradually created a versatile and unique style and sound full of aggressive wordplay, punchlines, and hard lyrics. With a passion for writing and music, and a strong work ethic, the studio quickly became a second home. Twelve years later and still hungry, his music is full of true life experiences, womanizing content, financial struggle, and street innuendo.
