Tachoir, who is also an accomplished vocalist as well as a fine pianist, has been the primary composer for several years in the Group Tachoir with husband and vibist/percussionist Jerry Tachoir. She's a past two-time winner of the international jazz omposition contest in Monaco, and won the Golbal Music Network award for best jazz composer unanimously in 2000."

This project is a collection of creative inspirational piano compositions that Marlene has compiled over the years that perhaps didn't fit into the Group Tachoir concept but deserves an outlet. This is a very soothing project and one that should be in every collection.
