Mariya is a London based Singer / Songwriter with a love for music, acoustic instruments and quirky sounds. Mariya`s songs explore the elements of life, her music is vocally rich, combining catchy hooks and curious melodies. She loves experimenting with sounds and styles, and sneaking unusual instruments in the song production is one of her favourite things. Mariya's debut EP “Storyteller” combines four tales - "Drunk", "Goodnight", "Coffee" and " Lies". All recorded by some of the best studio musicians in New York City. The songs feature a string quartet, horn section, as well as the use of percussion instruments, such as broken wine glasses, a key-holder, a jar of peanuts and coffee shakers.
