Wilson Harwood is a Nashville based songwriter. Not afraid to bend genres, Wilson has been drawing on a diverse array of influences including bluegrass, blues, soul, and Americana. Wilson’s latest LP, Rooted In You, is his first full length album. It marks a turn in his music towards a folk and Americana centered sound heavily influenced by his recent move to Nashville. He recorded the album at Elevated Music in East Nashville and layered most of the parts himself, while hiring a few talented friends to add cello, background vocals, and bass. The songs were written with the banjo in mind and have a cohesive theme of the changing forms of love over a lifetime.

Wilson’s accomplishments as a solo artist include his singles "Rose Petal," released March 8th, 2017 and “Rebound,” released November 2016, and an EP released in April 2016. He will be releasing his first LP “Rooted In You” in October 2017. His music was featured in the trailer for the independent film Persephone: Pictures at the End of the World and he was the winner of the Grassroots Music Festival Banjo contest in 2014.
