Biography JayMay a dedicated man of God, loving husband and father of two is on a mission to elevate Jesus Christ through his music. He illuminates God's word over beats while spitting with a passion that will capture the attention of audiences of all ages. With the bible as his influence the word will stay at the forefront of your thinking when you listen to tracks that he raps on. Many have said that it reminds them of a sermon put to a hip hop beat. Check it out and see for your self. There is an anointing in this music that will destroy the yokes of secular hip hop dependency. His album titled "Double Edge Sword" was released on November 1, 2005. This album was then given away to people as a seed planted in there lives and as a sacrifice showing God that JayMay is serious and that he will trust Him in all of his decisions. "Double Edge Sword" was recently re-released on August 1, 2006 with a remix and three new tracks added previewing His new album, "We Live Praise" which released September 2007. He has been doing Gospel Rap since 2001 and has had the opportunity to perform at many world wide venues in Germany, Italy, and Iraq. He has also shared his gift at various churches and showcases across the country. He performed during the 2004 Holy Hip Hop Award Showcase in Atlanta, the Ignite the Flame Festival in Florida, sharing the stage with S.O.C.O.M. and Rawsrvant, The Midwest Holy Hip Hop Fest, and opened up for Canton Jones at the Gospel Showcase in Colorado Springs, CO. His songs “Do You Believe” and “Think About It” has been acknowledged by receiving two Honorable Mentions in the 2003 Unisong Contest and “Can You Praise Him” received an Honorable Mention from the 12th Annual Billboard World Song Contest.
