Ash León is a Memphis based Hip-Hop artist currently residing in NYC. Their flowery aesthetic and rap style are often described as eccentric and quirky. Some of their musical influences include rappers such as Lupe Fiasco and The Black Eyed Peas, while bands and musicians such as Prince, Queens of the Stone Age and Incubus are also heavy influences. Activism is a huge part of their lifestyle and music, even serving as the foundation for their musical mission statement; "Overall, my goal is to be a force that helps redefine the culture of hip-hop and rap music by eliminating Misogynoir, Homophobia, Transphobia and Hypermasculinity."
